Abstract
Hearing impaired persons need communication aids to do communication between persons in anywhere in public places. To assist communication with textual and visual methods without acoustic oral speech, software was implemented on smart phones. The software can display frequently used sentences in usual daily life or in emergency communication, by navigating and selecting sentences from the list on the screen. By showing the display, a message is conveyed. It has enabled easier and more comfortable communication than traditional conversation in writing.
