Abstract

Nowadays, in de new economy, business has to work in Internet and have to exchange information with another business using the Web. On one hand, they need to work with the traditional data stored in databases. On the other hand, they also need to use the new Web data to exchange their information in the Web framework, where XML is the de facto standard. In order to adapt business information to the new Web environment we propose a new system called XBD. XBD allows querying relational data from a Web framework XML based. XBD could be seen as an adaptive or mediator system between two types of heterogeneous data as XML and relational database data.
