Abstract :
The method to design the controller of the outdoor switchgears is introduced in this paper. The controller can operate the switchgears and get the running conditions of the switchgears via the wireless communication. This non-contact way can avoid the accidents caused by touching the switchgears and make the maintenance of the switchgear easily and directly. A fault current waveform recording module is embedded in the controller. The module can record the parameters of the running distribute network during the fault. The records can be downloaded to a computer and be analyzed conveniently.
