  • Abstract
In this paper, a multi-DSP parallel system based on ADSP-TS201 is designed, and a method of wideband minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) beamforming implemented on the parallel system is presented, which is based on incoherent signal subspace processing, to solve the problem of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for wideband incoherent acoustic sources. The memory allocation of ADSP-TS201 is discussed. The network structure of the parallel processing system is proposed and the procedure of data processing is described in detail. An iteration method to seek the complex matrix inversion is applied to fit the DSP architecture. An experiment is given to verify the performance of the DSP system, and the effectiveness of the designed parallel processing system is demonstrated by the results.
