  • Abstract
    Many high performance distributed real-time object computing systems (HP-DRTOC) would benefit from the scalability, flexibility and inborn ability to solve the heterogeniety of CORBA if it could support real-time HPC. This paper makes two contributions to design and implement real-time CORBA for HP-DRTOC. First, it gives the architecture of real-time CORBA that indicates the basic components for HP-DRTOC. Second, it presents the design and implementation of real-time components in the HPRT-ORBase, which is a high performance, multi-QoS guaranteed, real-time and CORBA 2.2 complaint implementation.
