Abstract :
A simple script language, GSCRIPT, which supports distributed objects of both COM and CORBA is presented in this paper. In this language, an automation and dynamics invocation interface are used to manage COM objects and CORBA objects in the network respectively. GSCRIPT language is platform-independent. One GSCRIPT program will run on many operating systems and hardware platforms. The paper also introduces the architecture of the GSCRIPT interpreter and the mechanism to support the event service, which enables the platform-independence of GSCRIPT.
