  • Abstract
As one of the important equipment in the power grid, The operation of the power transformers is directly related to the security and stability of the grid. The oil surface temperature and winding temperature of Oil-immersed transformers can response to the operational status of the transformer timely, for which the author developed a Zigbee-based remote online monitoring of transformer technology which monitor the system operating temperature, the system using Zigbee wireless transmission advantage to overcome the wire transfer some of the drawbacks of remote monitoring is proposed in the local server and remote monitoring machine using Ethernet connectivity solutions to the monitoring unit and data acquisition problem of extension of communication distance. This paper describes the overall structure of the system, working principle and software design.
