Abstract :
Considers a two-dimensional synthetic aperture radar processing approach and compares the precision processing performances on three different synchronous general purpose computers: a RISC processor, a vector processor and a SIMD architecture with thousands of elementary processors. Results of computation provide an idea of the cost/benefit performance of the three systems for SAR applications
