Abstract :
This paper presents the user experiences of Contingency Analysis (CA) of NSTAR Energy Management Systems (EMS) at NSTAR´s Control Center. It discusses the NSTAR EMS systems, network and CA database management, CA visualization, NSTAR and New England power networks, and gives a detailed analysis of the effects of SE results on CA and the results of CA.
