Abstract :
Display and solid state lighting applications based on organic light emitting devices (OLED´s) is an emerging technology. Presently, most of the high performance red OLEDs are made by doping a red dye into a suitable host. In this article fabrication of OLED from synthesized meso-tetrakis(3,4 dimethoxyphenyl) porphyrin, doped in Alq3 at different concentrations with new method and its electrical characteristics and electroluminescence spectra is reported.
