Abstract :
The new generation of search engine is in urgent need to be aware of entities in addition to search text. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of entity standardization, and then model the entity search problem in a pure entity oriented way. Finally, we implement a prototype of a pure named entity oriented search engine(NEOS), which handles various query types in semantical meaning level. The evaluation of NEOS achieves rational results.
