Abstract :
The present known methods concerning the temperature measurement on turning bodies didn´t always provide the necessary accuracy and repeatability. The proposed method in this paper removes much of the drawbacks of known techniques and methods, allowing the information transmission between the moving and static parts through a capacitive coupling, in fact that was cylindrical capacitors. This method was achieved and tested comparatively with another temperature measurement methods (using infrared radiation sensor or transferring the information between the moving and the static parts through slip ring/brush coupling), giving very good results especially in punctual temperature measurement. The paper presents of principle the method and several experimental results without going into technical details concerning the used electronic schemes, shielding and the electromagnetic compatibility, effectuation and assembling of cylindrical capacitors. For final technical variant the authors solicited the qualification approval from the State Office for Inventions of Romania
