  • Abstract
    The carrier frequency estimation algorithm based on high-order cyclic cumulants does not need a training sequence. Due to the fact that the high-order cycle can suppress the stationary and non-stationary Gaussian noise, the algorithm is tolerant to the noise mentioned above. The computation of the algorithm is deduced in this paper. It shows that if large searching range of carrier frequency and high frequency resolution are required, the computation will be great. In order to reduce the computation, a 2-order iterative carrier frequency estimation algorithm based on high-order cyclic cumulants is introduced in this paper and the relationship between frequency resolution and computation is deduced. The simulations show that the new carrier frequency estimate algorithm proposed in this paper can reduce the computation significantly.
