Abstract :
This paper presents a novel synchronous rectification circuit using a saturable current transformer and its design oriented analysis is introduced. The proposed synchronous rectification circuit is applied to the forward DC-DC converter with the low output voltage of 2 V. In the prototype forward DC-DC converter, the high power efficiency of 88% is achieved at the current rating of 10 A.
