  • Abstract
    In this work, we examine the role of CEP by means of (3+l)-dimensional numerical simulations based on the unidirectional pulse propagation equation (UPPE) model. It is shown that the input phase offset can still influence the filamentation dynamics over long distances. Third-harmonic generation (THG) and plasma generation are the key players supporting differences in the pulse evolution and their respective impact is discussed.
