Abstract
It has been shown that by coupling the light of a master laser into the modulated laser´s cavity it is possible to increase the frequency range over which the laser operates linearly. This in turn allows for larger bandwidth OFDM signals to be directly modulated. This work shows an improvement in performance of a DMO OFDM system by employing external injection to extend the laser´s region of linear operation.
