Abstract :
An automatic design method for analog circuit is proposed in this paper. The proposed method is based on a multi-start point optimization (MSP) strategy with an embedded spice-level simulator. An optimal design point can be found automatically with spice-level accuracy. Moreover, impact of process variation is considered in this method such that the optimized result can satisfy the requirement of process corners. The proposed method can serve as a tool for analog circuit automatic design and optimization in practice.
