Abstract :
Base on the characteristics of IPTV(Internet Protocol television) Bearer Network, this paper discusses two core technologies of IPTV -- IP Multicast technology and CDN (Content Delivery Network), pointing out the advantages and shortcomings of them, then makes an analysis on several update improvement strategies of IPTV, including Controllable IP Multicast technology, P2P technology, DRM and QoE.
