Abstract :
The scattering behaviour of a blazed reflection grating consisting of arrays of V-shaped conducting elements on a reflector backed dielectric substrate is presented. The new grating structure can completely backscatter incident TM polarised electromagnetic wave to a circularly polarised wave. Compared to ordinary rectangular strip grating, elimination of specular reflection over wide angular range and large frequency band is achieved.
