  • Abstract
Though the helices have been popularly used as the microstructure in a chiral material, they are easily twined with each other in the process of being embedded in the host material. Therefore, a new type of microstructure of a conductive twist strip is proposed. This paper presents some numerical results of electromagnetic scattering from a conductive twist strip based on the method of moments. The chirality of the current distribution on the strip, and of the far-zone scattered field, and the equivalent electric and magnetic dipole moments are solved for both the right-hand and left-hand twist strips.
