Abstract :
Simulation plays a key role in functional design, virtual prototyping, re-engineering and manufacturing supervising. The detailed simulation of driving an entire vehicle and its environment includes a driver model. In the paper the design of a driver model is presented. It is capable of dealing with different car models and the whole variety of real roads. Above all, it can be adapted to the wide range of human behaviour, including experienced test driving
