Abstract
An electrodynamic chamber (EDC) is a device that controls the electrodynamic field surrounding a single particle. By suspending the particle at a fixed point in space, various measurements can he made to determine thermodynamic properties of the particle. This paper describes the preliminary engineering development of an EDC for combustion research at Rowan University
