Abstract
By using signal theory and noise subspace fitting in radar array signal processing, the paper first derives a singular value decomposition algorithm for reconstructing the true waveform scattered by underground object. More importantly, based on this reconstruction algorithm, a quantitative criterion for determining the signal number present in the waveform is given from the frequency domain information provided by the emitted waveform.
