Abstract :
This paper reviews some of the possible architectures that can be used for the deployment of Interplanetary Internet. In fact, the task of optimizing space system architectures is very complex, and it is not possible to design and analyze all possible configurations. Therefore, it is useful to have a clear vision of a large set of possible configurations, so that a remarkable subset can be extracted to allow the successive design optimization. We considered spacecrafts orbiting around the planets, spacecrafts orbiting around the sun and spacecrafts orbiting around a Lagrangian point. Furthermore, Flower constellations are considered as a viable tool to optimize the visibility of the network nodes.
