Abstract :
We present the conceptual learning of science (Colos) project which is made up of research teams from 10 European universities with a common approach to teaching in the technical and scientific fields. We show how this approach can be applied, resulting in highly interactive computer aided teaching modules. We show examples of such applications in the domain of electrical engineering, which are effectively used by students at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and we conclude with guidelines on how to evaluate such pieces of software.
