  • Abstract
    This paper proposes an ultra miniature ring directional coupler (15¿g/14 ring). This circuit corresponds to a reduction of about 50 percent of the area with respect to a common coupler (3¿g/2 ring). The new coupler configuration is described together with the method of analysis and experimental results, which confirm the theoretical approach.
