Abstract :
As fuel cells are likely to used in many applications in the future, it is imperative that the associated power electronics are compatible. This implies that a working knowledge of the fuel cell is required by the power-electronics engineers. This paper presents the processes around modelling a fuel cell and installing a 200 W prototype. This allows to both validate the modelling procedure and to gain valuable experience in its operation.
