Abstract :
Visually disabled people use text-to-speech interfaces to read documents. Text-to-speech interfaces present text in sequence. Informative texts are often skim read and referenced. These common tasks require an interface which permits efficient non-sequential access to the relevant text regions. This paper presents three implemented solutions that are based on language processing techniques
