Abstract :
This comunication analyzes multiple discontinuities produced by magnetized partial height ferrite material in rectangular waveguides; each piece of ferrite can present discontinuities in the three directions of the coordinate system (3D). Each uniform waveguide is studied by Schelkunoff´s method (S.M.) with a series development that has been modified with regard to the classical development. Each individual discontinuity is studied using the mode matching method (M.M.M.); this means that the complexity of the equation system can be simplified. Theoretical results agree with experimental results.
