Abstract :
To meet the needs of metrological tools in the field of optical telecommunications for short length of fibre, less than one meter long, the French National Metrology Laboratory (LNE) has developed a phase-sensitive Optical Low Coherence Reflectometer (PS-OLCR). Nowadays, to meet the needs of metrological references in the field of biology and the development of a large variety of waveguide optical sensors, the LNE is adapting its interferometric setup to meet those requirements.
