Abstract :
This paper develops multinomial logit model and rank logit model based on the Stated Preference data collected from intercity passengers between Guangzhou and Wuhan. To compare the two models accuracy we discuss the model evaluation index and estimate the market share. Most of results indicate rank logit model has more accuracy than multinomial logit model. Finally rank logit model is suggested to be used if the survey condition permitted.
