Abstract :
Recent activities of propagation studies for satellite communications in Japan are summarized. The results of such studies for mobile-satellite systems and fixed-satellite systems, and countermeasures for propagation impairments are described. Finally, some plans of propagation experiments using satellites to be launched in near future are introduced.
