Abstract :
The rationality of distribution center layout plays a great impact on the overall effect of the enterprise logistic system. A simulation based solution to design reasonable distribution center layout is studied in this paper. After introducing some commonly used methods for solving the distribution center allocation problem and pointing out the shortage of these existing methods, a decision-making model based on simulation technology was stated. Simulation models of several candidate layout schemes were created by simulation software called AnyLogic. Then analyses of different schemes were given and final decision was made according to the analysis after the execution of simulation. Thus the research provides an ideal solution to the distribution center layout problem for the manufacture enterprise.
