Abstract :
In order to improve the accuracy and rapidity of forecast of oil spill in Three Gorges Reservoir Area, and provide technical support for oil spill emergency decision-making. The paper designed an oil spill forecast model that can be used in Three Georges Reservoir Area by using EFDC model. Considering the effect of the wind and flow, and integrating with oil spill drift model, the oil spill forecast model optimized the hydrodynamic model to increase the forecast speed from the point of emergency. Finally, the system has been used to simulate an oil spill accident occurred at Wanzhou which is the typical water area of Three Gorges Reservoir Area at 175meter water level. The result of simulation verified the effect of the oil spill forecast model which is the first oil spill forecast model in Inland river of China.
