Abstract :
This paper deals with the theoretical investigation on a reduced size and multiple resonant Frequency Selective Surface (FSS). The FSS is designed by cutting different types of novel shaped slits within a rectangular shaped patch keeping same periodicity throughout. Compared to conventional patch FSS the designed FSS can provide reduction in resonant frequency resulting in size reduction up to 28.04%.and 96.48% corresponding to resonant frequencies 10.18GHz and 2.25GHz respectively. Theoretical investigations have been done by Ansoft designer® software.
