Abstract :
This paper has two main-purposes. First of all, it presents recent technological developments of microwave linear sensors based on the Modulated Scattering Technique (MST). Secondly, it reports results of in-situ assessments conducted with such sensors on wood and paper materials. As a conclusion, the impact of the availability of such microwave multipoint sensors is analysed.
