Abstract
The present paper reports the stability control for relativistic and ponderomotive self-channeling of ultra-intense UV laser pulses in high-density gel targets. It has been demonstrated that the characteristic unstable mode of relativistic and ponderomotive self-channeling of ultra intense laser pulses in high-density gel targets can be converted into stable single channel formation using multi layer gel compositions with the increasing density in each following layer.
