Abstract :
Soil dynamic is one of hot topic in geotechnical seismic and earthquake engineering field in recent years. The problem of dynamic characteristics of Aeolian soil has become a pressing issue to solve because of the earthquakes happen frequently and traffic volume increase gradually in Aeolian soil area. The paper summariZe the static achievements of the Aeolian soil and dynamic characteristics such as dynamic strength, deformation and so on in soil dynamics, especially the conclusions of peculiar soil dynamics. Some research experiments and theoretical exploration of constitutive relation, the relation between dynamic stress and strain and dynamic strength characteristics of Aeolian soil have been done by using the dynamic tri-axial apparatus. Make a further development to Aeolian soil dynamics is feasible and necessary. The development of Aeolian soil dynamics will greatly improve the qualities of engineering constructions in Aeolian soil area. Then it will promote economic and social development of this region.
