Abstract
Identity of any entity can be registered by different ways like writing by pen and paper on register, punching card, bar coding and magnetic stripping etc. One of the latest technology for registering the identity using radio frequency communication is radio frequency identification (RFID). The RFID system requires two things. First the RFID card i.e. the microchip having the capacity to store information with authentication and the second is RFID reader/writer module for reading and writing identity information from/to RFID card. In this paper we have proposed the complete RFID hand-held reader for recording attendance of employees and thereafter uploading it to the central database through Bluetooth.
