Abstract :
The equivalent distributed constant circuit for light weight (LW) optical telecommunication cables is derived, which can be used to evaluate transient behaviors and stabilities of power feeding systems for scientific underwater cable networks. The calculated characteristics show good accordance with the theoretically analyzed characteristics.
