  • Abstract
    This paper presents a convenient method for evaluating radiation loss from coupled microstrip line discontinuities. A planar lumped model and the multiport network model are used to find voltage distributions around the discontinuity edges and along the coupled line section and an equivalent magnetic current model is used to compute the resulting radiation fields. Results of radiation loss from a coupled line section with four chamfered bends are given in this paper.
