Abstract
The radiation characteristics of new microstrip electrically controllable scan antenna are investigated, theoretically and experimentally. Both longitudinal and transverse current are taken into account. The substrate of this antenna is made using ceramic-polymer composite with modified ferroelectric powder Ba/sub 0.65/Sr/sub 0.35/TiO/sub 3/ and appropriate polymer. It shows that the beam angle changes are over 30/spl deg/ when DC bias field is applied.
