Abstract :
The interaction between information technology and tourism has brought fundamental changes in tourism practices. In recent year, digital development of mountain-based world cultural heritage sites has become a new trend. However, the theoretical research on this theme is rare. On this basis, this thesis firstly proposes its concept and targets, analyzes the situations of digital development for 7 mountain-based world cultural heritage sites in China. At last, it comes up with new development paths from digital information sharing, virtual scenic spots establishing, wireless network applying, and professional talents cultivating aiming at enhancing the digitization of mountain-based world cultural heritage sites in China, and promoting scientific utilization and protection of resources and environment.
