Abstract :
We investigate the efficient scheduling and access controlling mechanism for multiple types of real time service in WDM network. We classify the messages to four types and propose the scheduling mechanism for the periodic real time messages and a periodic real time messages. The method which surplus bandwidth fragments are used to transmit the a periodic messages is novel and increases the rates of utilization of channels. The classified scheduling schemes are compared and performances including the real time load rate and probability of the access control are obtained by the theory analysis and the example evaluation.
