Abstract :
The management of naval vessels in naval base becomes more and more difficult as the number and the complexity increase. This mission requires a comprehensive information system. Although branch support systems in the naval base are dedicated to emergency management, the existing systems are inadequate to meet the threats and challenges inherent in this new technology infrastructure. The systems used to support crisis decision-making may not be fully capable of serving the mission. To optimize coordination in crises, an information system to manage the naval vessel is needed to meet the challenges presented in this new information environment. This paper mainly discusses the use of modeling and simulation in the information system. Upon the completion of the conceptual models, the structure and organization of the data were validated through a computerized conceptual model representation system. System dynamic experiments were carried to study the properties of information system. According to the simulation results, this information system is capable of managing the naval vessels effectively. Also, the structure and the simulation model was validated.
