Abstract
This research is an overview of the findings and discussions of a survey on the mobile users´ experience and acceptance regarding mobile spam and services and/or application of mobile network operators (MNOs) in Southeast Asia. Online approach is used to contact participants and collect data. A questionnaire containing eight questions is customized to produce an empirically valid picture of the mobile spam issue. The mobile users in Southeast Asia are found highly concerned with the spam issue, while they are excepting MNOs´ playing some positive roles to avoid the annoyance. In the end, the possibilities of both the mobile spam issue in the future and the service/marketing application that MNOs might take advantage from are discussed.
