Abstract :
To predict and improve the obstacle performance of Tracked Vehicle, a tracked vehicle multi-body dynamics model is built based on AMADS/ATV toolbox. The process of vehicles pass 2.7m ditch and 0.7m vertical wall are simulated. Centroid displacement, acceleration and force analysis of each wheel in process of cross obstacle are analyzed. If use dynamic method or higher speed, vehicle body and driver will suffer huge hurt. The simulation also can provide reference data for design of vehicle suspension system and provide evidence for the evaluation of tracked vehicle obstacle ability. There is seldom study on this field, this article provides a way to forecast tracked vehicles obstacle performance.
