OPENLIMS: The Internet of Things Oriented Laboratory Information Management System

Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is employed widely in the clinical, chemical and biological laboratories to manage the instruments, the operators and analytical activities. With the emerging and development of new technologies, such as the internet of things, the next generation, or the internet of things oriented LIMS is required to meet this challenge. This paper addresses all the issues such as the standard and the openness ability to develop the next generation LIMS.
