Abstract :
Instead of a series expansion with an infinite number of terms, the Greenpsilas function for the horizontal magnetic dipole (HMD) in the parallel plates is expressed with a finite number of the spatial-domain terms, using the complex image method for the spectral integral. This approach proves more efficient in computation. The validity of the method is examined and shown through the Sommerfeld integral (S.I.) and scattering solution of the slotted parallel-plate geometry with a field incident upon its surface aperture.
