Abstract :
Compared to narrowband antennas, ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas have particular characteristics which involve complementary and new ways to describe and model them. This paper presents the use of parametric modelization to efficiently model transfer functions (and associated impulses responses) of UWB antennas, to determine an equivalent circuit of their impedance, and to write a UWB radio link model in a standardized hardware description language : the VHDL-AMS.
